a little about the WAAA.... Set up in 1998 to provide a forum for anaesthetists in the western part of Northern Ireland, the Association recently also welcomed colleagues from Donegal. Presently our members are working in Altnagelvin Area Hospital, Coleraine Hospital, The Erne Hospital, Letterkenny General Hospital, Mid Ulster Hospital and Tyrone County Hospital. This is a wide geographical area, so we have few formal meetings. In the past, however, we have been able to have several excellent presentations followed by excellent dinners! This Web site is designed to give WAAA members easy access to one another and at the same time, perhaps, share some of their thoughts with the outside world. If you would like to have your own page on the site you should register your name, hospital and some of your interests with the Webmaster who will create a page for you. Even if you don't work in one of the WAAA hospitals we would still like to hear from you, although you probably won't get your own page! Come and have a look around. There's still a lot to put up (we need your input!!) but it's getting there. When you get bored take a look at the links page and move on to pastures new. Oh, and you should check out how long before all our ventilators and monitors go phut! ;-)
